Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how July Labs, LLC (“July Labs”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with CSuite (the “Service”). CSuite is designed to be local-first: your conversations, workflows, files, and credentials live on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

CSuite stores prompts, chat history, workflow definitions, model configurations, API keys, and locally generated assets in application data on your computer. This information is not transmitted to July Labs, LLC.

2. Third-party AI providers

When you choose to use a third-party provider (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI, or a self-hosted runtime), the prompts and files you send are transmitted directly from your device to that provider using the credentials you supplied. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Information we may receive

If you contact us, sign up for updates, or report an issue, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond and to improve the Service.

This website offers live chat through Crisp, which acts as our processor for those conversations. If you start a chat, Crisp receives your message, anything you volunteer in it (such as your name or email address), and basic technical details about your visit, and stores the transcript so we can reply. 4. Cookies on this website

If you opt out of analytics (section 7) we store that choice in your browser’s local storage (key csuiteCookieConsent) so we honour it on future visits. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. With analytics enabled, Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) to measure aggregate usage.

The live chat widget described in section 3 also stores a session identifier in your browser (under the crisp-client key) so an open conversation survives a page reload and we can tell your replies apart from another visitor’s. It is not used for advertising. Clearing your browser storage for this site ends that session; the analytics opt-out does not remove it, because the chat is a support channel rather than tracking.

5. Data retention and deletion

Local CSuite data persists until you delete it from your device. You can remove all data by uninstalling the application and clearing its application data directory. For information you have sent us by email, you may request deletion at any time.

Anonymous usage records described in section 7 are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Because they are not linked to any identifying information, we generally cannot locate an individual person’s records on request, but you can find your install identifier under Account → Privacy in the app and send it to us, and we will delete the records matching it.

6. Age requirement

The Service is intended solely for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or older where the age of majority in your jurisdiction is higher, to use CSuite, as set out in section 1 of our Terms of Service. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email us at support@csuite.so and we will delete it.

7. Diagnostics and analytics

The CSuite desktop app reports anonymous usage once a day while it is open, so we can improve the product and your experience of using it. It tells us how many people the app reaches, which versions are still in use, and which of the models we ship are worth supporting. The report contains a random install identifier, the app version, your operating system and processor architecture, your language setting, and a count of how many generations finished successfully for each model, by day.

Those counts are numbers and nothing else. A model is named only if we ship it in the app’s built-in catalogue; one you added yourself is counted under the single label “custom”, so a name you chose never leaves your device. Nothing else is sent: not your prompts, files, generations, settings, spend, file paths, or provider credentials.

The install identifier is random and deliberately separate from your license, so this data cannot be connected to your name, email address, or purchase. We record the approximate country the request came from where our hosting provider supplies it, and we do not store IP addresses. Reporting is on by default: switch it off under Account → Settings → Privacy in the app, or set the DO_NOT_TRACK=1 environment variable, which overrides the in-app setting.

When you download CSuite from this website we record which file, on which day, and a one-way hash of your IP address and browser user agent so that repeat clicks are only counted once; the hash cannot be reversed and the IP address itself is not stored. This website also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns, with IP addresses anonymized. The “Cookies” link in the footer opts you out at any time, which disables Google Analytics tracking on this site.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
